Working with our organization will be rewarding, challenging, and most definitely not just another job.Scope and Responsibilities:As the Senior Automation Software Engineer your role on the team will include leading and delivering engineering that defines the architecture for a scalable and completely automated continuous delivery system spanning data centers, edge sites, and legacy hosted environments. We need someone with a strong systems background and an eye towards automated software engineering and continuous delivery. You will be a senior member on the Private Cloud Team, which is a hybrid development and operations team running critical infrastructure across client.Experience Required:To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 6 years of directly applicable work experience. 2 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree.•
Experience designing and implementing end-to-end infrastructure as code automation solutions, including Terraform, version control and CI/CD workflows.• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and/or microservice architectures that include both unit and integration tests.• Strong dual-class; software engineer and systems administration required; container / Kubernetes experience is a plus.• Strong experience with multiple scripting and programming languages. Powershell, Python and Go are preferred.• Experience with configuration and automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible or SaltStack.• Experience with VMware vSphere and vCenter in high-availability environments. vRA experience is a plus.• Familiarity with the TCP/IP stack and networking fundamentals. NSX experience is a plus.• Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills (multi-tasking), and self-motivated (ability to work with limited coaching).• Familiarity with Agile Scrum processes.• AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud experience a plus.
