Job Duties:
- Understand complex business requirements and translate into technical specifications
- Use highest level of subject matter expertise to provide decisions on architecture, data modeling, data sourcing and data quality
- Document specifications for BI solutions, platform architecture, and other artifacts
- Manage release deployments and performance testing
- Evaluate and optimize existing BI systems
- Monitor and support BI database servers and processes
- Mentor remotely located BI teammates
- Provide excellent end user support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, Data Engineer and/or Architect
- 5+ years of experience designing, building and implementing BI solutions with Microsoft technologies including: Visual Studio 2013 or newer, Power Shell, MS SQL Server 2012 or newer, SSIS
- Advanced knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of data modeling, ETL and data architecture, including SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, NoSQL, and JSON
- Experience delivering BI solutions within Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience working with source code management tools such as TFVC and Git
- Experience developing with and supporting Azure services
- Experience supporting Oracle Golden Gate and SharePoint integrations
- Familiarity with SSAS
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States
